Pillar 1: Financial Literacy in Education Systems

School Curriculum Integration

The Foundation works with schools, education stakeholders and curriculum development partners to integrate age-appropriate financial literacy content into learning systems. This include practical modules on budgeting, saving, responsible spending, entrepreneurship and financial planning embedded within existing subjects and co-curricular activities. The goal is to equip learners with lifelong financial skills from an early age.

Financial Literacy Clubs

Financial Literacy Clubs serve as interactive peer-learning spaces where students apply financial concepts through debates, simulations, savings activities, innovation challenges and mentorship sessions. The clubs will encourage leadership, teamwork and practical financial decision-making while promoting a culture of saving, entrepreneurship and responsible money management among young people.

Teacher Training

Teachers and school facilitators are trained to effectively deliver financial literacy education using participatory and learner-centered approaches. Capacity-building programs provide educators with tools, resources and methodologies to simplify financial concepts and support continuous student engagement both inside and outside the classroom.
